 My view: I feel religion didn't merely originated by some people making others fool in name of an abstract thing(god) and getting them do what they wanted.  I feel some geniuses figured out few amazing facts of nature like  they traced the pattern of climate,  they traced the pattern when to plant crops  and which animals to domesticate, which plants to eat and  how some diseases could be prevented,  how few beverages helped in gaining immunity, etc.  And these geniuses where considered as different from rest of the people, and public started believing in them.  They started believing whatever these people spoke of.  Most of the mythological views we have somewhere they are held true in a scientific way.  The science has it's deep roots in mythology which simply gets unnoticed because mythology don't provide perfect profs for what they say, so it is all considered abstract.  Mythology knew many things,how they are done and how...

 Today's society is getting so much influenced by social media.  And when i say this everyone will say once in mind.. "Oh! I am not among them." But the thing is that we all are getting affected and influenced by things in a very secret manner.(sub-consiously)  And this is changing our behavior. Virtually getting us close and practically pushing us far apart, that's the reason our souls don't find peace anymore.  Like a post i just now saw asked me that " Is really anyone helping you or just acting? " And this post will eventually make people think that nobody is really helping them everyone is greedy and this will push people apart.  But the thing is do we ourselves have ever helped people around us? Even if we have done that post will change our thinking and eventually we will stop helping people,stop contacting people.  Social medias and virtual world is more dangerous than it just seems to be.
